Remember This Footage From Legends Beware?

While looking through our history of the recently released photographs from Legends Beware, we came upon something else that looked familiar -- It was the old "Birdwatcher" footage from April 2013. The footage has been out for a while and in some channels has gotten hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. For some, it's a very compelling footage:

      Some food for thought: Myth Becomes Reality

      According to local legend,an elusive,pure white lowland tapir was said to be roaming Brazil's Atlantis rain forest and photographer Luciano Candisani was determined to capture an image of it. Since the tapir is nocturnal,Candisani hung out at night in the Votorantim Reserve was said to have visited and he waited. Eventually he set up a camera trap. It is unclear how many nights he waited until he hit paydirt. "Rarity!" Cansisani wrote on his facebook page. It is the first record of an albino tapir in the wild of Brazil. The animal grows to the size of a small pony,is solitary and shy,grazes and forages at night on fruit ,plants, and other vegetation, and hides and rests during the day, making the albino tapir image that much more remarkable.

    I love the part at 2:00 where the guy filming accidentally gets too close and too clear of a shot so he immediately points the camera down and shakes it.

    We can't have any close-ups or unobstructed views of the monkey suit!

    First I have seen this one. It acts like you would expect one to act, but of course they are unpredictable. It also seems quite large in the opening shot. However when it walks off the steps seem to be short steps, but the view is obstructed. Perhaps someone around here knows something about this from the past.

    Certainly one of the better videos. I did notice that although it was intermittent, the location was very close to a moderately traveled road.

    This is a pretty good clip. It certainly does act like a real Sas...down to knowing it was being watched and vanished. Acts pretty much like the ones I watch and document in my area.

    In the first still image, about 15 seconds in, look at the right hand. It's speculated that sasquatches have thumbs that are proportionately shorter when comparing it to human thumbs and fingers. The thumb is kind of stubby on this sasquatch, and a lot further from the ends of the fingers in comparison to humans.

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. Bigfoot injured by a forest fire was taken away and hidden by the authorities, not even Robert Lindsay can top this story

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns".
