Finding Bigfoot Begins Taping In Redding, California

The taping of the new season of Finding Bigfoot is underway, as krcrtv.com reports that the Animal Planet team recently taped their townhall meeting in Redding, California.

Animal Planet's "Finding Bigfoot" held a meeting at Redding's Old City Hall Wednesday night.

"Well we have come to Redding to look into Sasquatch reports because there are are basically a lot of bigfoots in Northern California," said Cliff Barackman, who is the evidence analyst for the show.

He believes there is more than one.

"They are a perfectly normal biological species of hominoid of some sort so there has to be more than one," Barackman stated.

Although the team has a large database of Bigfoot sightings in this area, Barackman hopes Wednesday's meeting will reveal stories of sightings he hasn't heard before.

"Whenever we hold a public forum like this there is inevitable half a dozen stories know one has ever heard, sometimes those witnesses haven't told anybody about them," he explained.

The team will be in Redding for about a week, according to Barackman.

"We will be spending some time out west of here in the local mountains, probably not to far from Weaverville," Barackman stated.

However, the exact location where the team will be, will not be given out.

"Most likely somebody will go there and try to make noises and try to fool us," Barackman said.

  4. The producers have indicated that in this season the Finding Bigfoot crew will find a bigfoot.

The details have not been officially revealed, but a member of the camera crew has indicated that the script calls for the team using tear gas and a flame thrower. Apparently the bigfoot is flushed out of a den using tear gas and then set on fire using a flame thrower as it emerges from the den. It's a brutal scene when the squatch screams as it is burned alive. It makes for great family friendly television.
